Colour

I had the honor of helping a close friend/client find her perfect interior space colours, recently.

I was very thrilled when she { FINALLY } asked ME for my help.

I was up for the fun challenge, but also kinda freaked. She's my close friend. I played the mental "what if game." What if.... I go over board with my suggestions, what if ....she hates everything that I suggest. What if.....her husband hates it. What if..... What if.......What if......!!!! The toughest clients are friends and family. They say never do business with people you would see at weddings or funerals. But in a small town that's everyone! LOL

So the challenge, to find colours that both her and her hubby love and want in their home. To some this job could be daunting as all her walls were WHITE. But white, in this case, actually worked out great. A clean canvas as my starting point, not other wall colour to compete/compare with. To paint a picture of what her interior furnishings are ......deep chocolate chairs and muted blue micro-fibre couch that's big and cozy, rich espresso colour coffee table and computer armoir, white manteled fireplace with modern, updated tile inlay that have many colours ( creams, tans,  chocolate, espresso, tiniest bit of ocre with a marble pattern ). Her kitchen white, cabinet doors are white beadboard, white subway tile, white corian countertop, white appiances, white sink.WHITE WHITE WHITE, accept for her cabinet handles, BLACK. It looked great.
